Where Rivers Meet Network
The network brings together grassroots Black and minoritised community groups to strengthen collaboration, share resources, and build collective knowledge. Many of these groups work in isolation, often with limited access to funding, training, and strategic support. By creating a shared space for learning and peer connection, the network enables organisations to grow their capacity, develop new skills, and support one another in tackling common challenges. Strengthening these relationships also helps the groups increase their influence on local services, ensuring decision‑makers understand and respond to the needs of the communities they represent. Crucially, the network improves access to culturally appropriate support, helping to reach people who are often overlooked or excluded from mainstream services. By connecting even the most isolated individuals to a wider range of community‑led resources, the network aims to reduce inequality, build resilience, and create a more coordinated and inclusive system of local support.
